For a few months, Morrissey has publicly complained that no labels want to release his album. Capitol was allegedly supposed to share Bonfire Of Teenagers in 2023, but instead he departed and said the label was trying to wreck his career. In September the former Smiths frontman said labels wouldn't put out the record due to the controversial title track, and in November he said it was because free speech is criminalized. This week he announced he's signed to the Smiths' former label Sire. Now he's going in album cycle mode, except the album he's promoting is You're Right, It's Time, which is a different one than Bonfire Of Teenagers.
