On Friday, Lily Allen released West End Girl, an album that’s largely and obviously inspired by her breakup with her estranged husband, the Stranger Things star David Harbour. The album came out without much advance warning and didn’t have any proper singles, but the song that’s seemingly captured the most attention is “Madeleine,” a song about finding out that your partner is in a full-on relationship with someone else.
